The Jordan PTA believes it is important for parents and community members to be knowledgeable about education issues affecting student learning and achievement. We strive to promote understanding of the purposes and needs of public schools and encourage participation by parents and community members in working towards improvements in public education and environment. We also believe parents have common educational needs as it pertains to the social, emotional and physical development of our children and desire to provide experts on topics relevant to our members to help meet the needs of parents and their students. The Jordan PTA will provide 3-4 trainings per year for parent PTA members and publish details about the trainings in the Jordan PTA weekly eNews.
If you have an area of interest that you would like considered for a Parent Education training, please contact the VP of Parent Education.
